Virgin to Launch Mobile Casino

Virgin Games is set to launch new mobile gaming platform with Microgaming’s Quickfire.

Virgin Games announced that it is planning to launch a new mobile gaming platform in the near future.

The mobile site, powered by Microgaming’s Quickfire software, will allow Virgin account holders to play a broad range of Microgaming games, Tomb Raider and Thunderstruck, on their smartphones. Non-Virgin players keen to try the new platform must simply register with Virgin.

As the mobile site has been developed as a web application, Virgin customers will be able to access the Quickfire games in real time.

Simon Burridge, CEO of Virgin Games, said the company plans to develop its mobile platform further in the future and offer games from a range of providers. All Virgin’s current brands, such as Virgin Bingo, Virgin Poker and Virgin Casino, are powered by software from different providers.

Virgin Casino, like its new mobile equivalent, is accessed with ease through Flash. Its sound effects, graphics, and game play are renowned for their incredible quality, and it is expected that the new mobile casino will match that standard.
